The European Parliament voted today 6 May in Strasbourg on the future of the multi-coloured A-G energy-efficiency labels for televisions, fridges and freezers. In March, a committee of experts from national governments and the European Commission agreed on a new format for energy-efficiency labels, but consumer groups have been lobbying to overturn their decisions.
